Volunteer Fee — Academy and Select Only

Yearly Academy and Select Refundable Volunteer Fee $50.00

Each family with a player in the Academy or Select programs is asked to volunteer 5 hours per year for their child. Additional children playing Academy or Select do not increase the upfront $50.00 fee, but the overall volunteer time is increased to 8 hours per family. Upon completion of the volunteer hours, families may*** be eligible for reimbursement of the $50.00 fee. Families have the option to receive reimbursement or apply the money to their player account. Families that do not complete volunteer hours will forfeit the $50.00 to the Black Hills Rapids Soccer Club.

Volunteer opportunities are plentiful within the Rapid City Soccer Organization and may include such things as coaching, team manager, tournament volunteer, committee member or assisting with other club functions and outreach activities. All families throughout the organization are encouraged to volunteer within the organization.

Upon completion of volunteer hours, the family is responsible for completing and mailing the Volunteer Form to the Black Hills Rapids address. The Volunteer Form is available here.

***If a player’s account has a negative balance upon completion of the volunteer time, the fee will be applied to the account.
